Alabama Fellowship of Fire Chaplains
Est. 2012

Welcome to the AFFC Website

The concept of AFFC developed from a chaplain training meeting of twenty-six fire service members from across the state who met at the Alabama Fire College on April 28, 2012. Those present realized their department needed a trained chaplain to be present in times of crisis, health, injury, and family emergencies.

They also understood that it would take a cooperative effort by many to establish an organization that could identify, train, and support those willing to "serve those who serve." That day in solidarity, those men and women signed on to begin a fire chaplaincy fellowship that would one day support the men and women that make up our courageous first responders.

Today and always, AFFC invites all active, prospective, and retired fire chaplains to join our fellowship and support all of the first responders in Alabama. If you are interested, contact AFFC today.
