Essentials of Fire Chaplaincy (McCalla)

Sponsored by AFFC, this Fire Chaplaincy training event is a two-day training event course is highly recommended for fire chaplains and provides the foundation for chaplain service, fulfills FFC’s basic credentialing requirements, and begins the process of advanced training courses. This course will cover foundations of fire chaplaincy, personhood of the fire chaplain, beginning a fire chaplaincy ministry, ministering to those in crisis, intro to Critical Incident Stress Management, firefighter injury and Line of Duty Death, fire chaplain operations, and much more.

This event is May 15th and 16th at Grace Life Baptist Church in McCalla from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily with a fellowship and sign in starting at 8:30. ALL current Active AFFC Members are $225. Non or In-Active AFFC members are $250. Price includes the training classes, all course materials, and daily lunches, snacks, and drinks. Critical Incident Stress Management – Group (Greenville)

This intro provides the foundation for our upcoming Dispatcher Health course and understanding the needs of Alabama Dispatchers. This intro course will cover the day-to-day life of a dispatcher, understanding 911 stress, problems, and impacts, the needs of a 911 chaplaincy ministry, and much more.
