Sponsored by AFFC, this Fire Chaplaincy training event is a two-day training event course is highly recommended for fire chaplains and provides the foundation for chaplain service, fulfills FFC’s basic credentialing requirements, and begins the process of advanced training courses. This course will cover foundations of fire chaplaincy, personhood of the fire chaplain, beginning a fire chaplaincy ministry, ministering to those in crisis, intro to Critical Incident Stress Management, firefighter injury and Line of Duty Death, fire chaplain operations, and much more.


This event is April 11th and 12th at the Summerdale Volunteer Fire Department in Summerdale from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily with a fellowship and sign in starting at 8:30. ALL current Active AFFC Members are $225. Non or In-Active AFFC members are $250. Price includes the training classes, all course materials, and daily lunches, snacks, and drinks. Early registration is required but late registrations will be allowed based on available space.
